Poppie had such a long road with us after coming into rescue in September 2020 with critical wounds to her leg. Her owners almost put her down but we jumped in to help. When the vets went to fix her leg there literally wasn’t enough skin to cover her wound. Fund-a-bull’s donation to poppies care helped tremendously in saving this sweet girls life and TABR and Poppie are so appreciative of that! It took til about February for Poppie to finally be able to live without her cone 24/7. When it was off she’d instantly want to naw at her leg. But in February she found an awesome home with a great guy and his son. They spoil her rotten and take her out for drives since she loves being in the car. Her leg is fully healed now too so no cone for her! It was such a happy ending to Poppie’s story and we continue to get updates of her living the good life with her family!
