Bomb Pop has officially received both of his surgeries and is healing nicely. he is the sweetest guy. Still a little scared of things but just wants pets when he opens up to you. He is now ready for adoption and we hope to get him a forever home quickly.

Nellie was also able to receive a nostril widening surgery to widen her nasal openings and allow for easier breathing. She also required a soft palate resection to keep it from blocking her airway. Nellie is now adopted to a family with other rescued bulldogs and is loving life! She is breathing easily and able to run and play like a normal dog!

Sadly, we lost our beloved Walker Texas Ranger. His surgery initially went well, but afterward, he wasn’t interested in eating and eventually regurgitated, which we believe led to aspiration. He was placed on oxygen for 24 hours, and while he wasn’t getting worse, he also wasn’t improving. After 48 hours on oxygen, Ranger passed peacefully in his sleep. We were able to Donate $500 to SNORT and $500 to American Bulldog Rescue

She was placed into a home at the beginning of March.  They adore her.

Alumni Maisie came by hwfeed  with her pawrents to get her pic taken….she picked out a toy while she was there.

Dental, Spay and Mass Removal was 1/26/2024. It was a long surgery but all behind her now.

Spaghetti was adopted and enjoyed Christmas with his new family!

We thankfully have an update on our sweet girl as the results has finally came back. Moscato has a severe case of irritable bowel disease. She was in a chronic episode and that is why we were unable to get her gain weight or to have a normal pooping regimen. Dr. Grigsby was relieved that there was no cancer And she started her on an aggressive drug regimen of prednisone MiraLAX, and praline, which is a probiotic. We also changed her food type to prescription food hills biome.

Sometimes the right dog comes along at the right time and heals a broken heart. We are so thankful you opened your home and hearts to Maisie. You are just what she needed, too. Congratulations Maisie on picking an amazing forever family !!!

Callie was adopted in September of 2023 and is running around and living her best life with her Bulldog Sister, Gertie.

Sulley has been a snuggly boy for as long as he's been with his Austin Bulldog Rescue foster.  He just loves meeting new people and making new friends.  Even when he was feeling his worst and hospitalized at the emergency vet while dangerously anemic, he was constantly wagging his tail.  We knew this guy would be perfect for someone looking for their best friend forever.  And that's exactly what his adopter was looking for when first applied with ABR -- a loyal and friendly c
