Sadly, we lost our beloved Walker Texas Ranger. His surgery initially went well, but afterward, he wasn’t interested in eating and eventually regurgitated, which we believe led to aspiration. He was placed on oxygen for 24 hours, and while he wasn’t getting worse, he also wasn’t improving. After 48 hours on oxygen, Ranger passed peacefully in his sleep. The team did everything they could, performing several rounds of CPR, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to save him.
Our entire team, as well as his foster-to-adopt family, is heartbroken. He was so loved, and it’s incredibly hard to say goodbye.
