Libby

The shelter reached out because they were overcrowded and Libby was very stressed in the shelter. When she was rescued she was having trouble breathing. She was rushed to the vet emergency room where she said on oxygen all night. She was released the next day to be taken to a specialist vet. After she was away from the stress and able to calm down, her breathing normalized. It appears that that he palate tightens when she is stressed, which lead to the breathing issue. She is currently scheduled for surgery for her palate.

She is currently being taken care of by a foster. Once she is better, she will be available for adoption
