Ziggy is a 3 year old english bulldog that was recently surrendered to the rescue. His owner rehomed him a few months ago due to his home environment being stressful for him. The previous owner received a phone call about 3 weeks ago from animal control saying that they scanned his microchip and he was dropped off by the person she rehomed him to as a stray. Due to the environment at home and personal issues going on for the owner she could not bring him back into her home and reached out to us for help. Upon Ziggy arriving to his foster home, his severe breathing issues were noted and immediately seen by a surgeon. It was determined that he needed emergency upper airway surgery to remedy a severe elongated palate that was obstructing his breathing and having nares surgery as well to give him an overall better quality of life.
